Usha, Great songs again. Bhavayami Gopalam is always nice to listen to. The second song (at around the 5 min mark) is good too. And of course, with MS singing these, there’s more magic!

  2. R.K. Says:

This is one of the examples of what a great scholar of Sanskrit (and of course Telugu) Annamacharya was, and instead of getting carried away by the name and fame associated with scholarship, composed so many kirtanas understandable for the common man.

  3. R.K. Says:

As I am hearing to this song this moment, tholliyunu marraaku, my sister and mother who are visiting India are on the train to Tiruchi to visit “Sri Ranga Shisuvu” in Sri Rangam ….

      What a coincidence !

      • R.K. Says:

Another coincidence is that they will be in Sri Rangam for only 2 days and will be present at the commencement of Dhanurmasam on 16th. Attempts to get train tickets to go earlier were not successful and they could get tickets to go only today (Monday 14th night).
